A girls’ weekend in Turin: where to stay and what to do on foot from the centre
Three period-style rooms, a terrace overlooking the Mole Antonelliana and a weekend of visits to the Cinema Museum, historic cafés and Piazza Vittorio, starting from Via Montebello.
01
Stay together, with space for everyone
For a weekend with friends, choosing a centrally located house makes it easy to meet up again after sightseeing or a break. Zarathustra is on Via Montebello, close to the Mole Antonelliana and the Museo Nazionale del Cinema.
The period house has three separate rooms: Rossa, Verde and Gialla. Vintage furnishings, high ceilings and a terrace with views of the Mole Antonelliana give your stay a distinctly Turin feel. The kitchen is available to guests; the large bathroom is shared.
- Agree in advance who would like single beds and who can share a double.
- Write to Kamen with your preferred rooms: arrangements depend on availability.
02
Your first visit: the Mole Antonelliana and the Museo Nazionale del Cinema
The Mole Antonelliana houses the Museo Nazionale del Cinema at Via Montebello 20. It is the first cultural stop to consider for a group staying at Zarathustra.
Allow time to explore the museum, then consider the panoramic lift. Tickets, admission arrangements and availability may be separate: check the official website before deciding. It is easy to return to the house for a break while staying in the same area.
- Book activities that require a time slot.
- Check for any closures and review accessibility information.
03
Via Po, historic cafés and Piazza Vittorio
From Via Montebello, head towards the arcades of Via Po. Caffè Fiorio, at Via Po 8, is a historic spot for a break together.
Continue towards Piazza Vittorio Veneto: Caffè Elena, at number 5 on the square, is another option for a stop. The square and riverfront offer a walk to fit between visits. Check the cafés’ opening hours and book if your group would like to sit together.
- Choose one main visit and keep the other stops flexible.
- Before departure, send Kamen your dates, the number of friends travelling and your room preferences.
Your first cultural stop, on Via Montebello
The Mole Antonelliana and Museo Nazionale del Cinema (National Cinema Museum), at Via Montebello 20, are just steps from Zarathustra: a cultural visit to plan for your group. Check tickets, opening hours and panoramic lift access on the museum website.
