An arts weekend in Turin for groups: a two-day itinerary
A good group weekend combines shared activities with free time. Via Montebello is a suitable base for this rhythm: many cultural stops are clustered in the centre, while the house offers plenty of space to get together.
01
Day one: cinema and the centre
After breakfast, start at the National Cinema Museum. Check exhibitions and tickets before your visit. Continue towards Piazza Castello and choose between the Royal Museums, Teatro Regio or a walk under the arcades.
In the afternoon, the group can split up. Film lovers can check the Cinema Massimo programme; those who prefer exploring the city can head to Piazza Vittorio Veneto and the Po. Agree on a straightforward time to meet up.
- Book just one main attraction per half-day.
- Share a map with two meeting points.
- Leave at least an hour unplanned.
02
Day two: theatre, music or museums
Plan the second day around the events calendar. Teatro Stabile, Teatro Regio and the RAI Auditorium publish different programmes. If there is no suitable performance, the Egyptian Museum or an exhibition can fill the morning.
For a slower-paced day, walk along the Dora and return towards the centre. Guests travelling with pets can ask about the walking service offered by the house.
03
Making the group trip work
Decide in advance who will share a room and which beds you need. Mention allergies or dietary requirements to ask what can be accommodated, without assuming any arrangements that have not been agreed.
The evening before departure, check tickets, luggage and times. A shared base cuts down on messages and makes the trip more relaxed.
Your first cultural stop, on Via Montebello
The Mole Antonelliana and Museo Nazionale del Cinema (National Cinema Museum), at Via Montebello 20, are just steps from Zarathustra: a cultural visit to plan for your group. Check tickets, opening hours and panoramic lift access on the museum website.
